Profit-by-Channel Marketing Scoreboard

Every marketing channel on one page, checked against your store or CRM, down to net profit. Know what to cut, feed and test.

Meta says 4x. Google says 5x. So where did the profit go? One page, tied to your books.

Does Any of This Sound Like Your Month?

Every agency claims the credit. Nobody subtracts the fees. Here's where the profit usually hides, and how it gets found.

Sound Familiar?

You Add It Up, and It's More Than You Sold

The Sunday-night math. Meta, Google and email each claim what they sold (or signed). Added up, it's more than your store or CRM booked.

What the Scoreboard Changes

Put Every Claim Next to What Actually Landed

Each platform's claim sits beside what was actually booked from it. You see who rounds up, and by how much.

Sound Familiar?

Record ROAS in the Deck. Thin Margin in the Books.

The agency call opens with green arrows. Then the bookkeeper's P&L lands, thinner than last time. Sales up. Spend up. The cash… isn't.

What the Scoreboard Changes

See What Every Channel Kept After Every Expense

Fees, goods, shipping, discounts and returns, each charged to the channel that caused them. What's left is the number that matters.

Sound Familiar?

The Only Report on Your Agency Comes From Your Agency

It runs on their platform's numbers. Maybe it's right. You can't tell, so every month you nod along and approve the invoice.

What the Scoreboard Changes

Hold Every Agency to the Same Page

Same numbers every month, tied to your books. Calls stop being about whose report is right and start being about what to do next.

Sound Familiar?

Sales Dip, and You Have to Guess What to Cut

The budget meeting turns into a debate. The loudest voice wins, and you're scared of cutting the one quietly feeding all the others.

What the Scoreboard Changes

Walk Into Budget Calls Knowing What to Cut and Feed

Channels ranked by what they actually kept. Five minutes a month, and the call is yours to make, with the numbers behind it.

Here's Exactly What Lands on Your Desk

One page you'll actually open, built in your own accounts, with every number traced back to your books.

This Month Feed Google Search. Fix or pause TikTok. Test more email.

  • Your Numbers, Agreed First

You agree which numbers count and how each is worked out. Then a baseline, so every month has an honest comparison.

  • All Your Channels, One Page

Meta, Google, TikTok, email and SMS, affiliates, whatever you run. Marketplaces get their own row. For a firm, rows come from your CRM.

  • Two Views, Side by Side

What each platform claims, next to what actually landed in your store or CRM. That gap is exactly what the agency's report leaves out.

  • Your Profit After Every Expense

Agency and tool fees join the spend. Goods, shipping, discounts and payment fees hit the channel that made the sale. Overhead comes off once.

  • A Page You'll Actually Open

Ridiculously easy to read, even if Google Analytics isn't your thing. Built in Looker Studio, Airtable or the tool you already use.

The Evil Plan to Put Every Channel on One Page

Two to three weeks, two milestones. Your part: the call, read-only logins, your P&L, one session on the numbers and the walkthrough.

Get Your Game Plan
  1. Week 1

    Will Your Numbers Hold?

One session to agree which numbers count, then your tracking gets checked against your books. If it can't carry the weight, the build waits.

  2. Weeks 1 to 2

Every Channel and Expense in One Place

Spend, revenue, fees and the goods themselves for every channel, right where most reports leave them out.

  3. Weeks 2 to 3

Every Number Traced to Its Source

Channels ranked by what they kept. Ask "says who?" about any number and the answer's written down, tied to your bookkeeper's P&L.

  4. Week 3

    Your First Read, Together

The recorded walkthrough, a plain-English guide and your first monthly read. Bring your agency: it's their page too. Then it's all yours.

An Online Medical-Supply Store, Losing Money Every Month

Maybe that sounds like your P&L right now. First, the numbers were made true. Then every channel, and every agency, was measured against net profit, on one sheet read every month. Profitable in month one, and every month since.

Within the first 5 minutes of our initial conversation, all doubt in my mind faded. You were the guy I needed to step in and get us clarity.

Jason Wieland, CEO, ILNP

Why Now

Your Next Budget Is Already Being Decided

The money goes out either way. Next quarter gets split on today's numbers, and a channel quietly losing money keeps doing it until somebody does the subtraction.

Week one tells you whether your numbers hold. Only a small handful of projects run at once, so start dates fill up. If an agency renewal is close, ask now.

Questions, Answered

Anything else? Bring it to the 30 minutes.

Which number is right, the ad platform's or GA4's?

Neither, completely. Platforms count every sale they touched. GA4 misses ads that were watched but never clicked. The tie-breaker is total revenue against total spend.

Isn't the bookkeeper's monthly P&L enough?

It shows whether the month made money, not which channel made it. Your books never see the ad platforms. The scoreboard joins the two.

What if the tracking or expense numbers are a mess?

You'll hear it in week one, before anything gets built. If the tracking is badly off, a Tracking Audit comes first, and the build waits.

Will this start a fight with the agency?

It shouldn't. Nobody reading your numbers runs your ads or takes a cut of your spend, so no channel has to look good. Bring the agency to the walkthrough.

Who reads it after handover, and what keeps it running?

You do, in a few minutes a month, with the guide. Or a Fractional CMO reads it with you. What to cut stays your call.

Everything runs in your own accounts. It all lives in your own accounts, so nothing breaks when access is removed.

Curious Where the Profit Actually Went?

Thirty minutes on your numbers. Bring your ugliest spreadsheet.
